St. John’s Episcopal Church in Franklin, Pennsylvania, is home to a complete collection of windows created by the studios of Louis Comfort Tiffany. It is one of only seven remaining churches reported to have such a collection.
The sanctuary features a Tiffany Rose Window, described as the third-largest ever made by the studios, alongside a series of triptychs depicting the life of Christ. Other interior features include rosewood pews and two mosaics made by Gorham Art Studio.
Visitors can view the windows Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. A self-guided booklet is available at the church and can also be purchased for $5. Guided tours cost $5 per person, are limited to groups of 50, and must be arranged through the church office at least one week in advance. The church notes that the windows are at their best on a sunny day.
